Food Safety at Meal Prep Kingz

Your meals are prepared in our own local kitchen and delivered the same region they're made in — not shipped in from out of state. Less time in transit means food that arrives fresh.

Our certifications and protocols

  • FDA Compliance — Our facility complies with all guidance and regulations under the FDA food code.
  • FSMA — Our Food Safety Plan is administered by Preventative Controls Qualified Individuals (PCQI) for human food under the Food Safety Modernization Act.
  • GMP — We train all our staff to follow Good Manufacturing Practices including hand-washing, gloves, hairnets, and use of personal protective equipment.
  • SSOP — We strictly enforce our Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring our food manufacturing process remains sanitary at all times.
  • HACCP — Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. We analyze and address the probability of all food safety hazards to mitigate risk and implement preventative controls.

We comply with all USDA, FDA, Federal, State, County, and Local food safety regulations.

In our kitchen

We maintain the highest standards for clean food handling, with hundreds of processes and procedures in place to prevent everyday foodborne illness. Our team works in a hygienic facility using gloves, frequent hand washing, disinfecting protocols, and clean rooms. Customers never enter our preparation area.

Getting your meals to you

Because we cook locally, your food is in transit soon after it's prepared. Meals are delivered chilled in insulated bags with ice packs and left at your doorstep between 4 PM Sunday and 4 AM Monday. Refrigerate them as soon as you can after they arrive.

Leave your insulated bag and ice packs outside for your driver to collect on the next drop-off — we reuse them.
