We have two types of Chef’s Choice weekly meal plans: Signature and Keto. The Chef’s Choice plans save you time as dishes are pre-chosen for you by our chefs. Each week, you’ll choose the plan you prefer and the quantity of meals, then our chefs choose the dishes for you.

Service

When is the ordering deadline?
All orders must be placed by Wednesday at midnight to receive your meals that following Sunday.
Can I subscribe to your service?
Yes! To subscribe, simply select a meal you want and click the "Subscribe & Save" button. Then add the meal to your cart. Do this for all meals you want in your subscription, then checkout. That's it!

Your subscription will automatically renew every Wednesday at 11:59 PM (except for the first week since you already paid) and your meal selections will be delivered the following Sunday unless you skip a week, pause, or cancel your subscription before the Wednesday deadline.

You can cancel or modify your subscription anytime with absolutely no obligations! But note that after a subscription renews on Wednesday night, we cannot give refunds due to the food already being prepared on Thursday.
How do I manage my meals subscription?
To manage your subscription, wait about 30 minutes after placing the order, then you should get an email about your subscription and you will be able to manage it in your mealprepkingz.com account. To manage your subscription(s), login to your account, then under "Account Details," click "Subscriptions". This will take you to the "Your Subscriptions" page. Click the subscription you want to manage. You can pause, cancel, edit your meals, change payment methods, change shipping info, apply discount codes, or skip specific weeks of your subscription.

We recommend checking your subscription every week to be sure the meals you want are selected, because we occasionally add or remove meals on our menu which can affect your selections.
How do I use my discount code or gift card?
Your discount code or gift card number can be entered at the cart page or at check out. Some discounts are one-time use only, and in these cases it will say that your coupon has expired.
Can I cancel after placing my order?
Because your meals are prepared fresh to order, we're unable to offer refunds once an order has been placed. If you have questions or concerns about an upcoming order, reach out to us before the Wednesday deadline and we'll do our best to help.
Can I place an order over the phone?
Not at this time — all orders are placed through our website, which keeps your meal selections and payment info secure and accurate. If you run into any trouble ordering online, give us a call at (323) 645-3660 and we'll gladly walk you through it.

Deliveries

When will I receive my order?
Your meals will arrive between 4 PM Sunday and 4 AM Monday, unless an MPK representative contacts you to arrange otherwise. Delivery routes vary week to week, so exact times are estimates and we aren't able to guarantee a specific window. While a late delivery isn't eligible for a refund, if anything looks off with your order, contact us and we'll make sure it's handled. Don't forget to leave your insulated bags and ice packs outside for your driver to collect on the next drop-off!
Where do you deliver?
Proudly Serving Southern California, including Los Angeles, Orange County, Ventura County, San Diego County, parts of Santa Barbara and Riverside County. We hope to be delivering beyond that in the near future! You can check if we deliver to your zip code by putting in your address on the delivery page and seeing if there are delivery options available. Feel free to call or email us if you encounter an issue.
How do you deliver my meals?
Your order is delivered in an insulated bag with ice packs to ensure it stays properly chilled for delivery.
Do you ship outside of California?
We hope to later this year! Stay tuned!
Should I save the bags and ice packs?
Please leave them outside on your next order for our delivery company to collect!

Food

How long do your meals last?
We can’t guarantee the freshness of our meals beyond five days, but this is largely your preference! Seafood should always be consumed in the first half of the week.

All dishes should be refrigerated soon after you receive them for maximum freshness.

Our meals can be also frozen to extend their freshness by about a week.
Are your meals frozen?
Our meals are prepared fresh by our culinary team and delivered to you fresh. They are never frozen.
How long do I microwave my food?
It depends on your microwave and temperature preference. The average heating time is 1-3 minutes.
How healthy are your meals?
We believe our meals work well for most diets and needs. They are proportioned well and with a balanced amount of protein, carbs, and fats.

We also make as many health conscious substitutions as possible with our meals. We only use Himalayan pink salt; no table salt. We only use light agave for sweetener; no sugar. All sauces, seasonings, and marinades are house made; not overloaded with bottle/can-product sodium. All meals are gluten-free; no wheat.
What are the macros of your meals?
All macros can be seen on the product pages for each meal, and are also located on our meal containers.
Can I customize my meals?
Our Signature and Breakfast meals cannot be customized currently, nor can substitutions be made. The meals will always be served as listed on site so please make sure to order food that you can eat.
Can I order chef's choice but with no pork/seafood/etc?
No.

Chef’s Choice plans do not allow for any customization. If you want to guarantee an item is not included in your order, you must order a-la-carte.

Please be aware that we will not be able to accommodate requests like these even if you leave a note.
